About this place
One diner found the butternut squash soup “like a light dessert”. Their Christmas dinner at Mirumerushi unfolded course by course, from beef stew and homemade bread to passion fruit ice cream and a blackberry Bûche de Noël. The bread was fluffy, they recalled, and good enough to ask for more.
This was one person’s experience of a seasonal dinner. The menu also includes courses with soup made from vegetables delivered straight from the farm, and salad with leafy greens, an organic vegetable dressing and a generous selection of vegetables on the side. Some fish dishes come with brown rice and mixed grains made with organically grown produce, making the menu worth considering for a lunch that includes plenty of vegetables.
In another account of a Christmas dinner, the diner’s companion enjoyed the beef stew so much that they ate the reviewer’s portion too. The sauce also seems to have made the dish memorable, though tastes differed. Alongside set courses, the dinner à la carte menu lists dishes such as a trio of appetisers and wild-caught fish marinated in a Western-style nanbanzuke. Reservations are recommended for both lunch and dinner. For a more leisurely meal, look out for courses that include dessert, bread and coffee.
